easy to whip up and super moist pumpkin treat

This simple and easy-to-make pumpkin bread will fill the house with autumn and pumpkin spices.


  • flour 230g
  • sugar 165g
  • melted butter 115g
  • 2 eggs
  • pumpkin puree 330g
  • Greek yoghurt 60g
  • baking powder 1tsp
  • baking soda 1/2tsp
  • salt 1/4tsp
  • cinnamon 1tsp
  • ground clove 1tsp
  • ground ginger 1tsp
  • grated nutmeg 1/4 tsp
  • chopped walnuts 50g (if desired)


  • sift dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, baking soda, spices and salt) into a large bowl
  • if you use walnuts: add at this stage
  • mix
  • make a hole by pushing the ingredients aside
  • set the bowl aside
  • in another bowl, melt the butter and mix the sugar lightly (hand mixer or fork)
  • add yoghourt, eggs and pumpkin puree and stir a little
  • pour this mixture into the hole in the dry ingredients bowl
  • mix thoroughly with a hand mixer
  • when the ingredients are well-combined pour it into the mold
  • put it in the preheated oven for 30-45 minutes
  • check the doneness with a toothpick
  • let it cool on a cooling rack
